Guadalupe River Art Walk AIR #1 Community Engagement
We were so excited to see the positive responses to this year’s partnership between POW! WOW! San Jose and the Guadalupe River Park Conservancy. In response to social distancing measures and the desire for more intimate community engagement, we will be hosting a series of Artist-in-Residencies (AIR) from Fall 2020 into 2021!
The mission of our collaboration is to bring our public art movement into one of San Jose’s most unique natural assets. Now, more than ever, we understand how critical natural spaces and public art are to improving the quality of life in our community. We hope that while we remain physically distanced, we stay socially together.
Our very first activation will take place around the corner from our friends at the Children’s Discovery Museum. They have been supporters of the work we produce for many years and continue that by facilitating our very first Community Outreach forum scheduled for Thursday, September 24 at 6-7pm.
Join us to hear about our AIR program and to provide input for our first activation. Please click here on the link provided to register for the event.
Also, please help our engagement and share your thoughts on our survey in link here.
